Day 2 NoBo

Cold & Rainy. Low 50’s and constant rain. I hiked 9.1 miles by 2:30pm and decided to call it a day when I came to a dry shelter. My neck hurts from looking down the entire day! Of all the muscles I thought I might over use it was not my neck. There was no looking away from the trail today unless you stopped moving. It was too slick to look away and too cold to stop moving. I still loved almost every minute.

Walking through the forest, when I looked up, was like looking at a mystical forest from a fairy tell. It was green and every thing gleamed from the rain with a mist everywhere.

So now I have had beef stew for dinner and a warm cup of tea. I’m nice and cozy and resting up for tomorrow. Which will also be cold and rainy.
