So I am off on a new misadventure! I AM GOIMG TO NEW ZEALAND FOR 3 MONTHS! Yes 3 months! Not as long as I wanted it to be (six months was my original goal), but as long as I can get between doctors appointments. I see the doctor every 3 months for follow up on my colorectal cancer diagnosis. If you are age 45 or older to GO GET YOUR COLONOSCOPY! The prep is not fun, but not as bad as everyone says. The colonoscopy itself is easy breezy. Just go do it! And that is the end of my PSA!
A PSA was not part of my original plan of how I would announcement my NX misadventure, but so it goes. Now on to the exciting part:
I am planning on seeing as much of New Zealand as I can. I’m landing in Auckland, so I will explore the North Island first then the South. I’m hoping to do lots of hiking or tramping as they call it in NZ. looking forward to trying new things and learning all about a new place. I’m expecting stunning scenery and beautiful warm weather (it is summer down here in the southern hemisphere).
No worries for anyone: I’m traveling with a friend; my girls are coming over to join me for a couple of weeks; I also have friends who are coming for vacation for a few weeks, and I’m going to try and look up old friends who lived in USA in the 90’s and moved home to NZ. So I won’t be alone or lonely 😄
I hope you follow along on my blog. I’ll do my best to keep it updated and to respond to comments!
